In the year 2005, Our Young Marines have been hard at work with earning ribbons, performing
community service and getting ready for promotions. They used teamwork to navigate through
the Leadership Reaction Course (LRC) and mastered the Obstacle Course at Camp Edwards.
The Young Marines attended a Battalion & Regimental Encampment where they all used teamwork to compete
and meet other Young Marines throughout New England.
The Color Guard was kept busy where they presented the Colors before a Boston Celtics game as well
as several Providence Bruins games. They also had a chance to visit Fort Devens for the day while
watching the training of Marines.
The Young Marines also attended a Cold Weather Training excercise where they stayed up for 24 hours
while maintaining their fires as well as building their own shelters and cooking their own food.
Below are the Young Marines in action.
